Objective and Goals

Objective
Help provide rehabilitation and ability development services for disabled persons by ensuring their maximum integration into their communities as well as provide therapeutic and rehabilitation services to the sick, the wounded, the elderly and children with development problems inter alia.

Goals

• To ensure that day-time special education centers continue to provide and enhance their special education programs targeting persons with mental or hearing disabilities as well as persons suffering from cerebral palsy;
• To continue and improve physiotherapy, occupational, hearing and speech therapy services provided by various centers and units to all age groups according to need;
• To provide rehabilitation and therapeutic services to the inhabitants of remote or marginalized areas where there are no rehabilitation services;
• To develop and enhance awareness-raising, lobbying and advocacy programs that are of relevance to disabled persons and to the promotion of their rights;
• To cooperate and network with partners and institutions working in the field of the rehabilitation of disabled persons.
