International Relations and Cooperation

In line with the PRCS’ strategic goal to strengthen its cooperation with different humanitarian organizations and experts, the PRCS has weaved a strong network of relations with regional and international institutions as well as with experts, helping it to develop its humanitarian programs and services to the benefit of Palestinians and all those in need in the homeland and the diaspora. This network has given strength and support to PRCS during very difficult times in order to overcome challenges and acquire the necessary means to provide its services. Indeed, the various partnerships and friendships have helped the PRCS to face the humanitarian challenges and disasters encountered by Palestinians.

The International Movement of the Red Cross Red Crescent has provided continuous support to programs, projects and events organized by the PRCS. Without the financial and technical support by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies and many sister national Societies, it would be difficult for PRCS to provide its services to victims of Israeli occupation and to all those in need of health and social services.

Based on its conviction of the importance of strengthening its humanitarian role and character, PRCS has taken part in all conferences and meetings organized by the International Movement. It has also attended all meetings by the Arab organization of Red Crescent Red Cross Societies as well as meetings of its General Secretariat and has participated at numerous specialized conferences in the fields of health, rehabilitation, psychological health, disaster preparedness as well as youths meetings in areas related to the Society’s fields of competence.
